Snow Days

It's been a cold and snowy few days here in Portland. The downpour began on Thursday and didn't stop until Saturday, and now I'm told the next few days will be full of slippery and dangerous ice - just in time for our Monday commute! I've been enjoying a quiet and warm indoor weekend, getting things done around the house and FINALLY giving my room a deep clean.

I also squeezed in some time to play (and drink) in the snow. After work on Thursday, a few co-workers and I made our way to North Bar where hot drinks were a dollar off, in honor of the inclement weather. I sipped on Hamm's while my cohorts warmed their tummies with hot toddies and mulled cider because my constitution - much like my upper body - is WEAK. Other than that, I'm just glad I had a fully stocked fridge and plenty of shows on Roku to watch.
